What we make

Flowers for the everyday and the once-in-a-lifetime

Every order is put together by hand for you, so nothing here is off a shelf. Tell Laura the occasion, the colours and the budget, and she'll build it around what's freshest that week.

Hand-tied bouquets

Loose, natural bunches for birthdays, thank-yous, new babies or a just-because, wrapped and ready to give or take home.

Seasonal arrangements

Vase arrangements and jugs built from what the season is giving, so the flowers change through the year, and that's the point.

Funeral & sympathy tributes

Gentle, personal tributes and sympathy flowers, made with care and a quiet conversation about what would feel right.

Bespoke & made to order

Something specific in mind? Send a photo or a colour and Laura will design it for you: flowers for every occasion, made your way.

Prices depend on the flowers and the size, so the best way to start is a quick message with your occasion and budget. Message Laura on WhatsApp and she'll take it from there.

The story

Named after two grandmothers, Betty and June

Betty June Flowers is Laura's studio, named for her two nans, the women who gave her the love of flowers in the first place. It began as a stall on Wood Street Indoor Market and grew into its own space at the back of Biba Browns, a few doors down.

Over twenty years on, it's still a family affair: every bouquet is gathered and tied by hand, built around the British seasons and the small independent growers Laura would rather buy from than a supermarket. Flowers, she'll tell you, are meant to bring the neighbourhood a bit of joy.

Questions people ask

The practical things: ordering, collection and what Betty June makes.

How do I place an order?

The quickest way is a WhatsApp message or a call to 07850 956918. Tell Laura the occasion, the colours you like and roughly what you'd like to spend, and she'll design something around what's freshest that week. You can also DM @bettyjuneflowers on Instagram.

Where do I collect from?

Betty June Flowers is based inside Biba Browns on Wood Street, at 163 Wood Street, Walthamstow, London E17 3LX, a couple of minutes from Wood Street station. It's best to arrange a collection time when you order so your flowers are ready and freshly made.

What sort of flowers do you make?

Hand-tied bouquets, seasonal vase arrangements, funeral and sympathy tributes, and bespoke made-to-order pieces for all occasions. Everything is put together by hand and built around the British seasons, so the exact flowers change through the year, and that's half the charm.

Can I ask for particular colours or flowers?

Absolutely, that's how most orders start. Send a photo for inspiration or just describe the mood and colours, and Laura will match it as closely as the season allows. If a specific flower isn't in season she'll suggest a beautiful alternative rather than fly something in.

Do you deliver?

Collection from the Wood Street studio is always available. For local delivery around Walthamstow and E17, it's best to ask when you order, so message or call and Laura will let you know what's possible for your address and date.

How much notice do you need?

For a standard bouquet, a day or two is usually plenty; for larger or bespoke pieces and tributes, a little more notice helps Laura source exactly the right flowers. Around busy dates like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day it's always worth ordering early. Drop a message and she'll tell you what's realistic.
